What We Did

HF Brown has had a hectic summer of School shutdown projects, with 5 Projects in York, including the Phase 1 re-pipe of Westfield Primary School, where HF Brown acted as the Main Contractor and ran over 1000 meters of new heating and water pipework.

We also carried out the full re-pipe of Richmond Sixth Form College for the Arete Learning Trust. The project involved removing all corroded steel carbon heating pipes and replacing them with new stainless steel pipes. The project was a time challenge, with all work needing to be completed in the six-week shutdown. HFB remains on site, replacing aged boilers and pumps at the Sixth Form and wider school site.
